On November 21, 2009, the Stettler Seventh-day Adventist Church had a wonderful celebration for the beautifully renovated church building. There were visitors from all across the province, many of whom at one time were members. The sanctuary was filled as we worshipped together. The theme for the day was "To Remember, To Be Renewed, and To Be Revived." Pastor Warren Kay challenged the congregation to be renewed and revived by having Jesus come into their life and allow Him to bring His gift of abundant life. Elder Bill Olson, retired President of the Alberta Conference, spoke at the rededication service in the afternoon. Elder Bill Wigley reminded us of the pioneers who by their careful stewardship made the whole renovation possible. Evie Van Shiek led the congregation in the worship hymns. Special music was provided by Tamara McPherson, Leo Ganson, and others.

Special recognition was given to Harold Holdal for his generous donation of time and energy to oversee the renovation project. Without his help our dream would never have become a reality. His wife Violet was also recognized for loaning us her husband so the project could be completed.
