The Edmonton South Filipino-International Seventh-day Adventist Church (ESFIL) had a joyful day praising and honoring the Lord as it had its first baptism just seven months after being planted by the mother church, Edmonton Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church (EDFIL). Two souls surrendered their lives to God on Sabbath afternoon, September 27, 2025, having Devon River's strong current and cold water chosen as their watery grave. This public declaration of faith by the couple, Bro. Francis David and Sis. May David was administered by Pastor Joseph Batiancila and was witnessed and supported by ESFIL brethren.
